The Women’s Defense League of New Hampshire (WDLNH) proudly announces its first annual scholarship essay contest with monetary awards in the amount of $500 each for two New Hampshire high school seniors.
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS: To be eligible for the WDLNH Scholarship Contest award, entrants must be New Hampshire residents in their senior year of high school, currently enrolled in, or participating in, a New Hampshire education program. Eligible New Hampshire education programs include public high schools, charter schools, private and home school programs.
SUBMISSION DETAILS: Complete the scholarship application form and write an essay responding to the following:
Which of the rights guaranteed by the New Hampshire Constitution are expendable and why?
-Essay responses must be between 500 and 750 words with proper English usage, and must be typed using proper APA format.
-Essays must be submitted in hard copy no later than May 1, 2019.
-Winners will be selected by June 1, 2019, and winners will be notified no later than June 15, 2019.

Applicants may also submit entries as an attachment to [email protected], however. a hard copy must be submitted by US mail. Entries not submitted in hard copy or not in proper format will not be considered. Application must accompany the submitted essay. Winners will be selected by June 1, 2019, and winners will be notified no later than June 15, 2019.
