The Range Safety Officer (RS)) course content consists of RSO’s roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and Range Safety Briefings which include procedures to follow in the case of an emergency. RSO’s who have successfully completed the course then have the ability to become a Chief Range Safety Officer, someone essential to training and supervising NRA Range Safety Officers and developing range standard operating procedures.
The class normally costs around $125 but because we want to train women to help The League during our shoots, we are only charging $25 to cover cost and shipping of RSO manuals.
The class is a full day. We’re holding it on Saturday, June 2nd from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM at Wilson Hill Pistol Club. There will be no shooting during this class. We’ll have breaks so bring snacks and we will break at noon for lunch for an hour – you can either bring it or there are places locally to grab something.
THANK YOU in advance for your interest and help!!!!
This class is open for MEMBERS ONLY.
