Become a certified NRA Range Safety Officer (RSO)!!!

You will learn the skills and requirements to run a range safely and be certified to be an RSO on any range, not just for the League. The Range Safety Officer (RS)) course content consists of RSO’s roles and responsibilities, range standard operating procedures, range inspection and range rules, firearm stoppages and malfunctions, and Range Safety Briefings which include procedures to follow in the case of an emergency.

We are charging only $25 for League members BUT we ask that you volunteer for two shooting events per year. You will shadow a current RSO for the first year at two shooting events. We have multiple shooting events each year. RSOs are only needed on the range during shoots so the time volunteering is only a few hours at a time.

The ‘regular’ price for an RSO certification runs $125 and up. We are only charging for the books you will receive because we are asking that you also help the League in return. Besides, as serious as we are about safety, we also have fun!

This is an NRA class and upon successful completion of the class and exam, you will be certified as an NRA RSO!
