The Women’s Defense League of NH provides women opportunities to learn practical self-defense skills and defends Second Amendment rights. Providing basic firearms safety and instruction is a fundamental part of our mission, so please join us at our monthly ladies-only event!

Our next event is a NEW SHOOTERS INTRO CLASS at our home club, Wilson Hill Pistol Club in Manchester on June 12th from 1:00-5:00 pm. This class is intended as a basic introduction to firearms safety and shooting. It does not replace the need for additional training. Ladies who are new to the League’s shooting classes must participate in our New Shooters Intro Class before qualifying for additional firearms events. We have women NRA-certified instructors and Range Safety Officers to provide a safe environment. We also may have a board and safety officer of the host range present.

**Our shooting events are open to female League members and guests. All participants — members and guests — must register with us in advance; walk-ins are not accepted. All New Shooter Intro Classes are limited to 18 attendees to make sure we provide thorough instruction, maximum range time, and a safe experience.**

**For our existing members who have previously participated in an Intro Class — Starting with our June event, we will open the first hour (1pm to 2pm) to our lady members for an unstructured — but still supervised — shoot time. This will be concurrent with the classroom instruction for newbies. Space is limited to the first 12 members. You must RSVP to Lynn Nadeau at LNadeauWDLNH@gmail.com to reserve your spot; no walk-ins accepted. When not shooting on the range, we’ll have chairs set up outside the club so people can chat without disturbing the class. **

TO REGISTER — ALL participants must complete these steps —
1) Email Lynn Nadeau at LNadeauWDLNH@gmail.com. Clicking on the “join” button for this event is not sufficient to register or to guarantee your spot. If you are a League member and want to participate in the open range shoot, please indicate that. But that’s all! Done!
2) If you are not yet a League member, Lynn will send you a link to our “Member for a Day” page and you will need to pay $10 in advance to register. Lynn will send you the appropriate link only *after* you email her. There is such demand for our programs that this helps us manage the registration process. Thank you!

Once at the class, all guests will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate.

Please arrive promptly to the class, but no later than 1:10pm. We reserve the ability to decline late-arriving participants.

All participants in our New Shooters Intro Class will use a .22 caliber pistol and ammo that we provide. This is to help new shooters be comfortable and build on success. Please wear appropriate attire — closed-toe shoes and full-coverage shirts. Hot brass can be very uncomfortable and present a safety hazard when it hits bare skin. Please note that Wilson Hill’s range does not have air conditioning or heat although we use space heaters when needed. Layers are smart when on the range.
