The Women’s Defense League will be holding an Introduction to Rifle class on Sunday, October 8th from 1- 5PM at Londonderry Fish and Game Club.

The class will focus on semi-automatic rifles. Students will be taught the basics of semi-automatic rifles as well as how they function. They will be taught rifle handling; safety; stance and proper loading/unloading in the classroom.

Range time will include shooting .22 caliber rifles from a bench rest position as well as a standing position.

Classroom training will be provided by League certified NRA instructors and will last about an hour and a half. Range time includes one-on-one instructor training with League instructors.

This is not a class where you will receive a certificate of completion. This is an introductory class for those who are interested in learning more about rifles. It is much like our New Shooters Shoot class.
