The Women’s Defense League of NH (WDLNH) provides women opportunities to learn practical self-defense skills and defends Second Amendment rights. Providing basic firearms safety and instruction is a fundamental part of our mission, so please join us at our monthly ladies-only events!
We usually offer New Shooters Intro Classes every other month or so. These classes are intended as a basic introduction to firearms safety and shooting. They are a great starting point for training and incorporate both detailed classroom teaching, hands-on drills, and range instruction.
All ladies who are new to our League classes must first participate in our New Shooters Intro Class before qualifying for additional firearms events. We have women NRA-certified instructors and NRA-certified Range Safety Officers to provide a safe environment.
The New Shooters Intro Classes are open to League members and guests. All non-members are required to pre-register as a Member for a Day. (See our link to register and each event for details.) Walk-ins are not accepted. All participants in our New Shooters Intro Class will use a .22 caliber pistol and ammo that we provide. This is to help new shooters be comfortable and build on success.
In alternating months we offer additional training and support. Sometimes these classes are exclusively for members, or members may have priority registration. These sessions have included the following topics: Intro to Concealed Carry and Firearms Cleaning and Storage. These classes may be taught by a special guest instructor and may include a small fee for participation.
Currently we host all our classes at Wilson Hill Pistol Club in Manchester on the second Sunday each month beginning at 1:00pm unless otherwise noted.
We offer New Shooters Shoots just about every other month as well as ‘Shoot with the Girls’ for members. We also offer the following throughout the year:
Refuse To Be a Victim seminars
Basic Pistol Classes
Advanced shooting skills classes
… and much, much more!
Events may be cancelled due to severe weather; check our Facebook page and website as needed. We’ll also send out emails.
Please be sure to like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter for information about the League, our various training events, 2A issues around the state, and more!
*Refund/Cancellation Policy* If The League has to cancel an event due to weather or other issues, we will gladly issue a refund if you cannot make the re-scheduled class. Any cancellations by participants are not eligible for refunds.
