SUMMARY:Basic Pistol Class - WOMEN ONLY Range Staff
DESCRIPTION:Basic Pistol Class – Women only students with women only range staff! Women empowering women! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen & Where \n\n\n\nOur upcoming class is on Sunday\, September 13th (starting promptly at 8:30 am) to 4:30 pm. It will be held at Renaissance Firearms in Barrington\, NH in a temperature controlled indoor range. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClass \n\n\n\nThe NRA Basic Pistol Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA affiliation. This course is a minimum of 8 hours and includes classroom instruction and range time learning to shoot semi-automatic pistols. This is an instructor-led program and is not a blended training course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStudents learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from a standing position; pistol selection and storage; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will also complete live-fire training on the range. A NRA Certificate will be issued upon satisfactory completion of this course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay of Class \n\n\n\nParticipants should bring their own eye and ear protection (we have some available as well). Also bring beverages\, lunch and any snacks. Please wear appropriate attire — closed-toe shoes and full-coverage shirts as hot brass can be very uncomfortable and present a safety hazard when it hits bare skin. A brimmed hat such as a baseball hat is recommended but not required. Wearing layers is also helpful. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Women’s Defense League will supply the firearms\, ammunition\, targets\, and student packets. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration \n\n\n\nAll participants must prepay to reserve their seat. The fee for non-members is $95 and for League members it is $70. Go to this link below to pay prior to class day. Space is limited to 24 participants and spots will only be held for people who pre-pay. NOTE: These classes fill up extremely fast\, spots are reserved on a first-come\, first-serve basis!! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll participants are also expected to complete a liability waiver prior to participation which will be made available at the event. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou can register for the class here:  https://wdlnh.org/services/basic%20pistol%20registration/ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*Refund/Cancellation Policy* If The League has to cancel an event due to weather or other issues\, we will gladly issue a refund if you cannot make the re-scheduled class. SUMMARY:New Shooters Shoot - Women Only Environment
DESCRIPTION:New Shooters Shoot – for women who have never touched a firearm or those who want a quick refresher class on safety in a women-only shooting environment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe have NRA-certified instructors and NRA-certified Range Safety Officers to provide a safe environment. We are the first\, and one of the only women-only shooting environments in New Hampshire! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe New Shooters Intro Classes are open to League members and guests. All non-members are required to pre-register as a Student for a Day for a fee of $25 which can be used towards a membership if you choose. Walk-ins are not accepted. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll participants in our New Shooters Intro Class will use a .22 caliber pistol and ammo that we provide. This is to help new shooters be comfortable and build on success. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll attendees must register ahead of time as the classes fill up very quickly and we have a limited number of seats we can fill in our women-only shooting environment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou can register here: https://wdlnh.org/services/student-for-a-day/ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter your payment is sent\, you will receive an email within a few days confirming your registration in the class. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you are an existing member of the League\, email events@wdlnh.org for registration – the New Shooters Shoot is FREE to members. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe class is from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Check out 90+ vendors!!! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFreedom Promotions\, LLC has been doing a fantastic job bringing gun shows BACK to New England!!! There are a variety of vendors and selections. So much to choose from in one weekend!! Gun shows are always a good time! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFreedom Promotions has also been extremely supportive of The League’s mission!! We’ve been attending as many of their gun shows as possible (we think probably all of them!) Not only do we love meeting new people\, but we love meeting members and women who want to find other women to shoot with! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nVisit the Rochester Gun Show and peruse the multiple vendors\, get information about organizations\, visit the League at our table\, or maybe buy something new you’ve been wanting to add to your collection!

Admission is only $10 per person! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStop by and say hello while perusing all of the awesome merchandise from vendors around New England including guns\, knives\, ammo\, night vision\, reloading optics\, collectibles\, holsters & more! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe love going to gun shows and meeting so many new people and saying hello to old friends!! You can check out photos from our last gun show in Concord! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nNovember is a great time to shop for a new firearm\, or any of the items the show has to offer\, including a new membership to the League! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere will be multiple vendors in attendance from all across New England who will be offering various items for purchase. From firearms\, to targets\, there is nothing you can’t get!!! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThere will be over 70 vendors at the show!
