DESCRIPTION:This is for members only who have already completed our safety class. Bring your own firearm (if it’s new be sure to practice loading and racking the slide before coming to the shoot because we’ll want to verify you can do it) and ammunition and get some practice before we welcome new shooters on the line! \nIt’s a great chance to meet other members and have fun shooting with the girls! \nYou must register for this event in advance as well so that we know how many instructors to have available that day. DESCRIPTION:This is our Annual Holiday Party event for members only. It’s one of the most fun events of the year! Potluck and Yankee Swap (if interested). Rather than grabbing a number from a hat for the Yankee Swap\, members shoot at snowman targets (the snowman is pointing a firearm at you!). The points are added up on the targets and participants receive their order for the Yankee Swap. \nIt’s a fantabulous and fun event for all!!! \nAs with all events\, all participants are required to register with events@wdlnh.org in order for The League to have enough instructors and RSOs on hand.

DESCRIPTION:MORE INFORMATION WILL BE PROVIDED WHEN THE EVENT OPENS UP FOR REGISTRATION \nThese classes are intended as a basic introduction to firearms safety and shooting. They are a great starting point for training and incorporate both detailed classroom teaching\, hands-on drills\, and range instruction. All ladies who are new to our League classes must first participate in our New Shooters Intro Class before qualifying for additional firearms events. We have women NRA-certified instructors and NRA-certified Range Safety Officers to provide a safe environment. The New Shooters Intro Classes are open to League members and guests. All non-members are required to pre-register as a Member for a Day. (See our link to register and each event for details.) Walk-ins are not accepted. All participants in our New Shooters Intro Class will use a .22 caliber pistol and ammo that we provide. This is to help new shooters be comfortable and build on success.

DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to offer special training opportunities exclusively to our members! Our next special event is on Sunday\, October 9th starting at 1:00pm — a “New to You” Firearms Orientation Workshop. As always\, we’re at Wilson Hill Pistol Club in Manchester. This is perfect for those of us who recently purchased or inherited a firearm\, or have one that is less familiar to us. We will walk with you through an orientation of your firearm — how to disassemble and reassemble it\, how to clean it\, what ammo it requires\, and run through some dry fire exercises before shooting on the range. \n**This special event is limited to 12 participants\, members only — one of the benefits of League membership! Please register by contacting Lynn Nadeau at LNadeauWDLNH@gmail.com. Clicking on the “join” button for this event is not sufficient to register or to guarantee your spot in the event. It would be very helpful to know what model firearm you plan to bring so we can do a little research in advance.** \nAlthough there is no cost for this workshop\, we **require** attendees to supply the following:\n— Bring your own pistol or revolver (no long arms!) and a hardcopy of the manual. Most firearms manufacturers have manuals available online if you need to print one out. The club does not have reliable internet\, so you must bring a printed copy.\n— Bring the appropriate ammo for your firearm.\n— Bring your own dummy rounds; some manufacturers call them Snap Caps. If you need to buy some\, they are readily available at ammo retailers — Riley’s\, Shooter’s Outpost\, Bass Pro\, as well as those that offer discounts to our members. We also may have a board and safety officer of the host range present. \n**Our shooting events are open to female League members and guests. All participants — members and guests — must register with us in advance; walk-ins are not accepted. All New Shooter Intro Classes are limited to 18 attendees to make sure we provide thorough instruction\, maximum range time\, and a safe experience.** \n**For our existing members who have previously participated in an Intro Class — Starting with our June event\, we will open the first hour (1pm to 2pm) to our lady members for an unstructured — but still supervised — shoot time. This will be concurrent with the classroom instruction for newbies. Space is limited to the first 12 members. You must RSVP to Lynn Nadeau at LNadeauWDLNH@gmail.com to reserve your spot; no walk-ins accepted. When not shooting on the range\, we’ll have chairs set up outside the club so people can chat without disturbing the class. ** \nTO REGISTER — ALL participants must complete these steps —\n1) Email Lynn Nadeau at LNadeauWDLNH@gmail.com. Clicking on the “join” button for this event is not sufficient to register or to guarantee your spot. If you are a League member and want to participate in the open range shoot\, please indicate that. But that’s all! Done!\n2) If you are not yet a League member\, Lynn will send you a link to our “Member for a Day” page and you will need to pay $10 in advance to register. Lynn will send you the appropriate link only *after* you email her. There is such demand for our programs that this helps us manage the registration process. Thank you! \nOnce at the class\, all guests will be required to sign a liability waiver to participate. \nPlease arrive promptly to the class\, but no later than 1:10pm. We reserve the ability to decline late-arriving participants. \nAll participants in our New Shooters Intro Class will use a .22 caliber pistol and ammo that we provide. This is to help new shooters be comfortable and build on success. Please wear appropriate attire — closed-toe shoes and full-coverage shirts. Hot brass can be very uncomfortable and present a safety hazard when it hits bare skin. Please note that Wilson Hill’s range does not have air conditioning or heat although we use space heaters when needed. Layers are smart when on the range.

DESCRIPTION:HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!!! What better way than to treat yourself or your Mom to a class on how to clean their firearms! \n**This special event is limited to 18 participants\, members only — one of the benefits of League membership! Please register by contacting Lynn Nadeau at LNadeauWDLNH@gmail.com.** \nAlthough there is no cost for this workshop\, we ask attendees to do the following:\n— Bring your own pistol or revolver (no long arms!) and a hardcopy of the manual. Most firearms manufacturers have manuals available online if you need to print one out.\n— You should be comfortable with the disassembly and reassembly of your equipment.\n— If you don’t have a firearm\, we will clean the club’s equipment.\n— Bring your own supplies including towels\, swabs\, cleaning products\, and lubricants. Because ventilation may be an issue\, please do not bring sprays.\n— Do not bring ammo as this is *not* a shooting event and it is not allowed in the classroom.
