SUMMARY:Intro to Rifle
DESCRIPTION:**MEMBERS ONLY** \n\n\nThe Women’s Defense League will be holding an Introduction to Rifle class on Saturday\, October 26th from 1- 5PM at Londonderry Fish and Game Club. \n  \n\n\nThe class will focus on semi-automatic rifles. Students will be taught the basics of semi-automatic rifles as well as how they function. They will be taught rifle handling; safety; stance and proper loading/unloading in the classroom. \n\n\n\nRange time will include shooting .22 caliber rifles from a bench rest position as well as a standing position. \n\n\n\nClassroom training will be provided by League certified NRA instructors and will last about an hour and a half. Range time includes one-on-one instructor training with League instructors. \n\n\n\nThis is not a class where you will receive a certificate of completion. This is an introductory class for those who are interested in learning more about rifles. DESCRIPTION:This is for members only who have already completed our ‘New Shooters’ safety class\, taken a Basic Pistol Class\, or are experienced shooters. Bring your own firearm (if it’s new be sure to practice loading and racking the slide before coming to the shoot because we’ll want to verify you can do it) and ammunition and get some practice before we welcome new shooters on the line! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll also have firearms available if you do not have one yet and are still learning! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIt’s a great chance to meet other members and have fun shooting with the girls! Instructors will be on the range to help you master your shooting skills. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*You must have taken our Basic Pistol class\, New Shooters Shoot\, or be an experienced shooter before attending one of these shoots.* \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou must register for this event in advance as well so that we know how many instructors to have available that day. DESCRIPTION:Our ‘Girls Night Out’ looks a little different than what you normally expect.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll start by shooting at Londonderry Fish & Game Club on Tuesday\, June 16th from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. It’s the perfect time of year to be at an outdoor range to get some fresh air and training! Even if you can’t make it until 6:00 PM\, we’ll be there!!! And if you only want to attend from 5:30 – 6:00 PM\, that’s perfectly okay as well!!! This is all about YOU and getting some more range time and training in. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJust bring your own firearm and ammo and you can train OR get help from an instructor where needed! If you don’t have a firearm yet\, we’ll let you borrow one of ours\, no problem! We’ll also provide some fun targets for you to use from all our years of collecting FUN targets. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a FREE event for members only. SUMMARY:Basic Pistol Class - WOMEN ONLY Range Staff
DESCRIPTION:Basic Pistol Class – Women only students with women only range staff! Women empowering women! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen & Where \n\n\n\nOur upcoming class is on Sunday\, September 13th (starting promptly at 8:30 am) to 4:30 pm. It will be held at Renaissance Firearms in Barrington\, NH in a temperature controlled indoor range. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClass \n\n\n\nThe NRA Basic Pistol Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA affiliation. This course is a minimum of 8 hours and includes classroom instruction and range time learning to shoot semi-automatic pistols. This is an instructor-led program and is not a blended training course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStudents learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from a standing position; pistol selection and storage; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will also complete live-fire training on the range. A NRA Certificate will be issued upon satisfactory completion of this course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay of Class \n\n\n\nParticipants should bring their own eye and ear protection (we have some available as well). Also bring beverages\, lunch and any snacks. Please wear appropriate attire — closed-toe shoes and full-coverage shirts as hot brass can be very uncomfortable and present a safety hazard when it hits bare skin. A brimmed hat such as a baseball hat is recommended but not required. Wearing layers is also helpful. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Women’s Defense League will supply the firearms\, ammunition\, targets\, and student packets. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration \n\n\n\nAll participants must prepay to reserve their seat. The fee for non-members is $95 and for League members it is $70. Go to this link below to pay prior to class day. DESCRIPTION:The 2nd annual Rise-Together weekend will be held at Manchester Firing Line in Manchester\, NH. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event is presented by Iron Rose Women’s Shooting Club and includes instructors and speakers from New Hampshire and across the country including TerryAnn Bowen of Iron Rose Women’s Shooting Club\, Andee Reardon from East Coast School of Safety\, Kerry Slone from We the Female\, Kimberly Morin from our own Women’s Defense League of NH\, and many others!!! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe full detailed schedule of training is not available yet (we’ll update when it’s available)\, information about the event is below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom Iron Rose: \n\n\n\nIncludes: \n\n\n\n • Full access to all training sessions and speakers \n\n\n\n • Two full days of breakfast and lunch \n\n\n\n • Saturday evening banquet ticket  \n\n\n\n• Optional self-pay farewell gathering \n\n\n\n • Event swag bag and sponsor gifts \n\n\n\n • Professional event photography and media  \n\n\n\n• Access to the private Rise-Together 2026 Attendee space inside The Rose Garden \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAmmunition is not included. SUMMARY:New Shooters Shoot - Women Only Environment
DESCRIPTION:New Shooters Shoot – for women who have never touched a firearm or those who want a quick refresher class on safety in a women-only shooting environment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe have NRA-certified instructors and NRA-certified Range Safety Officers to provide a safe environment. We are the first\, and one of the only women-only shooting environments in New Hampshire! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe New Shooters Intro Classes are open to League members and guests. All non-members are required to pre-register as a Student for a Day for a fee of $25 which can be used towards a membership if you choose. Walk-ins are not accepted. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll participants in our New Shooters Intro Class will use a .22 caliber pistol and ammo that we provide. This is to help new shooters be comfortable and build on success. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll attendees must register ahead of time as the classes fill up very quickly and we have a limited number of seats we can fill in our women-only shooting environment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou can register here: https://wdlnh.org/services/student-for-a-day/ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAfter your payment is sent\, you will receive an email within a few days confirming your registration in the class. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIf you are an existing member of the League\, email events@wdlnh.org for registration – the New Shooters Shoot is FREE to members. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe class is from 8:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Any cancellations by participants are not eligible for refunds nor can they be used towards another class in the future

DESCRIPTION:Since October is Halloween month\, it only makes sense to have a Halloween shoot!!! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a member-only shoot. You must have taken the New Shooters Shoot\, Basic Pistol class\, or be an experienced shooter to participate. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nLadies will shoot the evil witch to earn points within a certain time period. The top 3 shooters with the most points will win Halloween prizes!!!! We’ll continue shooting afterwards to get more practice as well! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll participants must email events@wdlnh.org to let our Events Coordinator know you’re coming. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBring your own firearm and ammunition to get practice with instructors on the range. SUMMARY:Women's Firearm Training - WOMEN ONLY Environment
DESCRIPTION:Basic Pistol Class – Women’s firearm training with women only range staff! Women empowering women! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen & Where \n\n\n\nOur upcoming class is on Sunday\, November 15th (starting promptly at 8:30 am) to 4:30 pm. It will be held at Renaissance Firearms in Barrington\, NH in a temperature controlled indoor range. It is a women’s firearm training class in an empowering environment! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClass \n\n\n\nThe NRA Basic Pistol Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA affiliation. This course is a minimum of 8 hours and includes classroom instruction and range time learning to shoot semi-automatic pistols. This is an instructor-led program and is not a blended training course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStudents learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from a standing position; pistol selection and storage; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will also complete live-fire training on the range. A NRA Certificate will be issued upon satisfactory completion of this course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay of Class \n\n\n\nParticipants should bring their own eye and ear protection (we have some available as well). Also bring beverages\, lunch and any snacks. Please wear appropriate attire — closed-toe shoes and full-coverage shirts as hot brass can be very uncomfortable and present a safety hazard when it hits bare skin. A brimmed hat such as a baseball hat is recommended but not required. Wearing layers is also helpful. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Women’s Defense League will supply the firearms\, ammunition\, targets\, and student packets. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration \n\n\n\nAll participants must prepay to reserve their seat. The fee for non-members is $95 and for League members it is $70. Go to this link below to pay prior to class day.
