SUMMARY:National Women's Range Day at SIG
DESCRIPTION:Gun Owners of America is holding a National Women’s Range Day event at the Sig Sauer Academy. Some instructors and RSOs from the League will be volunteering and some members will be participating! This seems like a great event to meet other women from New Hampshire as well as women instructors from around the country! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom GOA: \n\n\n\nNational Women’s Range Day is a full day of training\, empowerment\, and Second Amendment advocacy\, designed to equip women with real world skills and confidence on and off the range. All equipment is included. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhether it’s your first time picking up a shotgun or you’re looking to refine your skills\, this class offers a welcoming space to learn\, connect\, and grow. SUMMARY:GIRLS NIGHT OUT - MEMBERS ONLY
DESCRIPTION:Our ‘Girls Night Out’ looks a little different than what you normally expect.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe’ll start by shooting at Londonderry Fish & Game Club on Tuesday\, June 16th from 5:30 – 6:30 PM. It’s the perfect time of year to be at an outdoor range to get some fresh air and training! Even if you can’t make it until 6:00 PM\, we’ll be there!!! And if you only want to attend from 5:30 – 6:00 PM\, that’s perfectly okay as well!!! This is all about YOU and getting some more range time and training in. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nJust bring your own firearm and ammo and you can practice OR get help from an instructor where needed! If you don’t have a firearm yet\, we’ll let you borrow one of ours\, no problem! We’ll also provide some fun targets for you to use from all our years of collecting FUN targets. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou can also bring a rifle or shotgun if you want. We’ll have instructors there who can help! If there is a certain firearm you’ve been wanting to try\, let us know\, one of us may have it and can bring it for you to ‘try before you buy!’ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis is a FREE event for members only. After we’re done shooting\, we can head somewhere local to dinner if we want (you are responsible for dinner)!!! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nPlease email info@wdlnh.org to let us know you’ll be attending. DESCRIPTION:Basic Pistol Class – Women only students with women only range staff! Women empowering women! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen & Where \n\n\n\nOur upcoming class is on Sunday\, September 13th (starting promptly at 8:30 am) to 4:30 pm. It will be held at Renaissance Firearms in Barrington\, NH in a temperature controlled indoor range. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClass \n\n\n\nThe NRA Basic Pistol Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA affiliation. This course is a minimum of 8 hours and includes classroom instruction and range time learning to shoot semi-automatic pistols. This is an instructor-led program and is not a blended training course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStudents learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from a standing position; pistol selection and storage; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will also complete live-fire training on the range. A NRA Certificate will be issued upon satisfactory completion of this course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay of Class \n\n\n\nParticipants should bring their own eye and ear protection (we have some available as well). Also bring beverages\, lunch and any snacks. Please wear appropriate attire — closed-toe shoes and full-coverage shirts as hot brass can be very uncomfortable and present a safety hazard when it hits bare skin. A brimmed hat such as a baseball hat is recommended but not required. Wearing layers is also helpful. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Women’s Defense League will supply the firearms\, ammunition\, targets\, and student packets. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration \n\n\n\nAll participants must prepay to reserve their seat. The fee for non-members is $95 and for League members it is $70. Go to this link below to pay prior to class day. SUMMARY:New Shooters Shoot - Women Only Environment
DESCRIPTION:New Shooters Shoot – for women who have never touched a firearm or those who want a quick refresher class on safety in a women-only shooting environment. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWe have NRA-certified instructors and NRA-certified Range Safety Officers to provide a safe environment. We are the first\, and one of the only women-only shooting environments in New Hampshire! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe New Shooters Intro Classes are open to League members and guests. All non-members are required to pre-register as a Student for a Day for a fee of $25 which can be used towards a membership if you choose. Walk-ins are not accepted. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll participants in our New Shooters Intro Class will use a .22 caliber pistol and ammo that we provide.
