DESCRIPTION:The 2nd annual Rise-Together weekend will be held at Manchester Firing Line in Manchester\, NH. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe event is presented by Iron Rose Women’s Shooting Club and includes instructors and speakers from New Hampshire and across the country including TerryAnn Bowen of Iron Rose Women’s Shooting Club\, Andee Reardon from East Coast School of Safety\, Kerry Slone from We the Female\, Kimberly Morin from our own Women’s Defense League of NH\, and many others!!! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe full detailed schedule of training is not available yet (we’ll update when it’s available)\, information about the event is below. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nFrom Iron Rose: \n\n\n\nIncludes: \n\n\n\n • Full access to all training sessions and speakers \n\n\n\n • Two full days of breakfast and lunch \n\n\n\n • Saturday evening banquet ticket  \n\n\n\n• Optional self-pay farewell gathering \n\n\n\n • Event swag bag and sponsor gifts \n\n\n\n • Professional event photography and media  \n\n\n\n• Access to the private Rise-Together 2026 Attendee space inside The Rose Garden \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAmmunition is not included. SUMMARY:Women's Firearm Training - WOMEN ONLY Environment
DESCRIPTION:Basic Pistol Class – Women’s firearm training with women only range staff! Women empowering women! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhen & Where \n\n\n\nOur upcoming class is on Sunday\, November 15th (starting promptly at 8:30 am) to 4:30 pm. It will be held at Renaissance Firearms in Barrington\, NH in a temperature controlled indoor range. It is a women’s firearm training class in an empowering environment! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nClass \n\n\n\nThe NRA Basic Pistol Course is intended for all individuals regardless of previous shooting experience or NRA affiliation. This course is a minimum of 8 hours and includes classroom instruction and range time learning to shoot semi-automatic pistols. This is an instructor-led program and is not a blended training course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nStudents learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from a standing position; pistol selection and storage; and continued opportunities for skill development. Students will also complete live-fire training on the range. A NRA Certificate will be issued upon satisfactory completion of this course. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDay of Class \n\n\n\nParticipants should bring their own eye and ear protection (we have some available as well). Also bring beverages\, lunch and any snacks. Please wear appropriate attire — closed-toe shoes and full-coverage shirts as hot brass can be very uncomfortable and present a safety hazard when it hits bare skin. A brimmed hat such as a baseball hat is recommended but not required. Wearing layers is also helpful. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe Women’s Defense League will supply the firearms\, ammunition\, targets\, and student packets. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nRegistration \n\n\n\nAll participants must prepay to reserve their seat. The fee for non-members is $95 and for League members it is $70. Go to this link below to pay prior to class day. Space is limited to 24 participants and spots will only be held for people who pre-pay. NOTE: These classes fill up extremely fast\, spots are reserved on a first-come\, first-serve basis!! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAll participants are also expected to complete a liability waiver prior to participation which will be made available at the event. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nYou can register for the class here:  https://wdlnh.org/services/basic%20pistol%20registration/ \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n*Refund/Cancellation Policy* If The League has to cancel an event due to weather or other issues\, we will gladly issue a refund if you cannot make the re-scheduled class.
